The SlimCORE™ 12F and 24F cables are designed for low fibre-count MPO trunk deployments within data centres, typically routed through fibre duct between racks and rows. The single-unit construction supports direct termination to MPO connectors at the rack or row level, eliminating the requirement for fanout kits.

With a 4.5 mm outer diameter and a nominal weight of 17.7 kg/km (12F) or 18.6 kg/km (24F), the cables are suited to short-run patching, end-of-row aggregation, and constrained-pathway installations. Configurations are available in single-mode (G.657.A1) and multimode (OM3, OM4, OM5).

Intended for sub-rack patching and short cross-connect runs in datacentre cabinets across the Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan datacentre clusters, with applications in commercial-tower MDF and IDF stock throughout Australian and New Zealand business centres. The 4.5 mm OD suits subfloor tile cutouts and tight cabinet-side pathways, and the single-person pull weight matches the install practices used by local structured-cabling crews.
