Engineered for demanding outdoor environments, this non-metallic armoured loose tube fibre optic cable features a UV-stabilised Polythylene/Nylon (PE/NY) jacket protected by an integrated non-metallic layer of FRP rod-style armour. This construction provides superior crush resistance, rodent protection, and flexibility for use in duct, and direct-buried applications.
The design enables easy handling and fibre protection, while the all-dielectric build eliminates earth bonding/earthing requirements, ideal for power utility corridors and environments sensitive to metallic components. Optimised for carrier, broadband, transport, utility, campus networks and harsh environments across Australia.
For critical networks, even greater tensile strength and crush resistance is available in our high strength HS1 optical fibre cable. and non-metallic armoured high strength HS1 optical fibre cable.
