StrikeFLEX™ is ScaleFibre's tactical tight-buffered optical fibre cable family, engineered for rapid-deployment, repeatable redeployment, and punishing field conditions. Each fibre is individually 900 µm tight-buffered, surrounded by high-tensile aramid yarn strength members, and sheathed in a tough abrasion-resistant polyurethane (PU) jacket. The result is a small-diameter, low-weight cable that survives ground deployment over rock, sand, mud, gravel and tarmac — and packs back onto a reel for the next mission.

StrikeFLEX™ supports military and emergency communications, broadcast outside-broadcast (OB) and ENG operations, oil & gas field links, mining and event-venue deployments where standard outdoor cable would fail on retrieval. Available with single-mode (G.657.A1 or G.657.A2) and multimode (OM3 / OM4) fibre options, in fibre counts from 2 to 24.

Intended for ADF and emergency-services tactical communications across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, with the PU jacket and aramid core proven on mining connectivity, broadcast and disaster- response deployments in hot, abrasive and humid conditions.
