The FiberFox Mini 4S+ is a compact, field-ready active alignment fusion splicer designed for reliable single-fibre termination. Using DAA (Digitalized Active Alignment) technology, it delivers more precise positioning than competing core-alignment splicers, with typical losses around 0.02 dB.
Weighing 1.4 kg (with battery 1.8 kg), the Mini 4S+ offers a balance of performance and durability. It achieves splice times as fast as 6 seconds and heating cycles of about 10 seconds, with up to 350 splicing + heating cycles per charge. The system includes a 4.3″ touch screen interface and dual CCD camera for fibre observation and alignment.
Designed for demanding environments, it is dustproof, waterproof, and anti-shock. The Mini 4S+ supports a broad fibre range including single mode (G.652 & G.657), multi mode (G.651), dispersion shifted (G.653), and non-zero dispersion shifted (G.655), ensuring compatibility across modern network applications.
